Ceramic-lined Pipe

KOWOV ceramic-lined pipe combines a structural-ceramic tube with a seamless-steel outer pipe by hot fitting or structural-ceramic adhesive. Listed ceramic options include alumina, silicon carbide and composite ceramics; the delivered temperature range is -50 °C to 500 °C.

    Design and construction

    • Low Operating Resistance
Smooth internal surface, no corrosion, unlike seamless steel pipes with potential spiral protrusions.
smoothness, clean resistance coefficient of 0.0193, lower than seamless pipes.
Low operating resistance reduces operational costs.

      Wear Resistance
Structural ceramics provide wear resistance 266 times that of manganese steel and 171.5 times that of high-chromium cast iron.
The ceramic lining limits direct wear of the steel outer pipe in powder-processing systems.
    • CERAMIC LINED PIPE (3)
    • CERAMIC LIN3ED PIPE (1)
    • Corrosion Resistance
Structural ceramics resist acids, alkalis, seawater corrosion and scale formation.
      Extends pipeline lifespan.

      Good Temperature Resistance
Operates normally from -50°C to 500°C due to stable crystalline structure.
Linear expansion coefficient of 6-8 × 10^-6 /°C, approximately half that of steel pipes, indicating good thermal stability.
