In July 2021, KOWOV completed a delivery of 200 ceramic valves for Indonesian nickel projects. The published company account describes the manufacturing and dispatch milestone, following a series of supplier evaluations.

For an overseas project, the valve's technical suitability and the supplier's ability to deliver the agreed scope belong in the same decision. The story is therefore about preparation and project execution as much as the equipment itself.

What the delivery record establishes

The account names the OBI nickel-cobalt and Morowali HPAL projects. It also records involvement from China ENFI and PT. Huayue in the evaluation process, describing five rounds of site and quality assessments before KOWOV was selected.

For a large project, that dispatch represents work across material selection, production and inspection. The next stage takes place at the installation: commissioning records and scheduled inspections establish how each valve performs in its assigned duty.

The July 2021 shipment forms part of KOWOV's longer work in Indonesian nickel processing, described in the Indonesia application overview.

Why the application needed a technical review

Nickel hydrometallurgy includes abrasive and corrosive streams, but the conditions vary substantially between process positions. The liquid chemistry, solids and actual temperature and pressure determine which wetted materials and valve structure are appropriate.

A new supply enquiry starts with a valve schedule and the operating conditions at each position. For abrasive process streams, the FCCV1 ceramic ball valve is one construction to review. The FCCV8 double-lining construction offers a different combination of ceramic and PTFE protection where the chemical service calls for it.

Connect purchasing to delivery

An overseas quotation should define the equipment scope, actuator and accessories, inspection requirements, documents, spare parts and destination. Those details allow engineering and purchasing teams to assess the same package.

The factory page introduces KOWOV's manufacturing operation. The laterite nickel application account then follows a different stage of the customer relationship: operating experience that led to a further trial and wider use.

For a new project, send the valve list and required delivery schedule with the enquiry. That gives KOWOV a basis for connecting the product recommendation with a concrete quotation and supply plan.
