FCSV Ceramic Slide Valve

The FCSV uses a flat slider and fixed seat at the edge of the flow passage. Separating the valve and pipe openings is intended to reduce direct erosion of the sealing surfaces; the delivered data lists unidirectional Class IV shutoff.

    Design and construction

    • The valve core moves linearly on the valve seat, creating a planar seal at the edge of the valve seat flow passage hole, allowing throttling, opening, and closing.
The design minimizes flow resistance and erosion, with no sharp turns or stagnation points.
The valve core is embedded in a metal mounting plate with ceramic to prevent breakage from clogging.
Each valve seat and valve core are pair-ground to ensure sealing.
The metal mounting plate has a T-slot that connects with the valve stem's T-slot, keeping the valve core floating and improving sealing performance.
Both valve core and seat are made of structural ceramic, with ceramic-lined flow passages at the flanges for wear, corrosion, and erosion resistance.
The valve's design extends its service life (interior valve body currently cannot be lined with ceramic).
The live-load packing arrangement maintains packing force as wear occurs.

The FCSV1 has a compact structure and low push-pull actuation force. It can operate as a control or on-off valve in media with high impurity levels, scaling, crystallization, viscosity or large particles. The flat flow path and self-cleaning action are intended to limit clogging and flow deviation.
The main sealing components are structural ceramic. The valve seat re-establishes the flow channel at the pipeline center to keep the process stream away from the body and downstream pipe wall.
The FCSV1 valve can handle slurries, gas-solid particulate media, and gas-solid-liquid three-phase media under severe erosion conditions, maintaining smooth operation, long-term sealing, and extended service life.
